He is also founder of UNSCENE, the country’s most widely distributed urban guide (www.unscene.com) and operates a design lab. Links: Press: Angela Eve For two years running she was a headlining international act at The London Burlesque Festival. Her act “The Queen Of The Mardi Gras” debuted in June at The Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans and she travels regularly to perform in a variety of acts across the nation. Last spring she created Chicago’s first burlesque festival “Angela Eve’s Twisted Tassel Burlesque Festival“. Co-producing with Flesh Tones Burlesque and The Admiral Theatre they brought to Chicago a full fledged celebration that encompassed five weeks and over eighty acts selling out most dates The production received much critical acclaim from such publications as The Chicago Tribune, Time-out Chicago, Ur Chicago, as well as being profiled and featured on Metro Mix and Chicago Public Radio. She is the creator and driving force of Eve’s Parlor Burlesque achieving a great level of success in Chicago since 2004. Featured in most Chicago publications, Angela Eve also graced the cover of the Arts & Events section of The Chicago Reader for her “Bad Girl Rock Revue“. Eve’s Parlor was a touring act on the Ozzfest rock tour while being highlighted in Rolling Stone and USA Today. Asides from her demanding burlesque/performance career she created an artist collective with Anastasios Ketsios and Sonya Siedlaczek called Image Collective. Imagecollective produces a sizeable range of visual art shows that include elements of erotic/burlesque photography, paintings and installation art. The last 3 years she has been living between Chicago and New Orleans working on a published photo documentary project with artist Anastasios Ketsios.
